Please note – this offer is now closed, all copies have been distributed to interested Midlothian schools. Please go to our main maps page.
The 4th edition of the Spokes Midlothian cycling and walking map is now out…
We have roughly 60 copies left of the previous (3rd) edition. We would be happy to donate these free of charge to any Midlothian school or other educational purpose in Midlothian.
For example if might be an interesting exercise for students to identify changes between the 3rd and current editions, and then discuss how Midlothian is changing as a result of the railway and many other local developments.
If your school would like some of the free copies of the 3rd edition, please contact Tim Smith to say how many you would like and (very briefly) how you would use them. Feel free to apply for any number you would find useful, as we don’t want leftovers! We will restrict numbers if necessary.
Email … firstname.lastname@example.org
If there is high demand we will give a degree of priority to the schools/ educational bodies who retweeted one of our map tweets, namely…
If possible, please apply by Friday 24 April, although we will accept later applications if there are copies left.
